My Goal.
2 1/2 years ago I decided that I wanted to go to nursing school. I was pregnant with Frogger and knew he'd be my last child. It was time. So I looked up the classes that I needed to take and I devised a plan. I broke down each semester and knew what I'd be taking each time. I enrolled in a summer class and got started. My list is finished. I applied to nursing school today. I won't know until February if I even get an interview. If I do I will find out in April if I get in. I have a back up list ready for the classes I'll take next Fall and Spring so that I can apply to more schools, just in case. But it feels strange that things are now completely out of my hands and now in God's hands. I like to be in control. When I made this plan, I assumed I wouldn't get in on the first try. (Very few students do in the program I applied to.) So I think I'm more nervous that I will actually make it.
Okay, well enough about that. Squirrel has auditions today. Time to move on....

That's impressive to be well on your way in just two and a half years! You'll have to keep us updated on how your application goes.
If you did well on your tests, I can't imagine you getting turned down.
WOW!! That is awesome!! You should be very proud girl- I am:)
You should be proud of yourself. Especially balancing family and classes. Good job!
Good morning Seminole,
Thank you for visiting my blog, and for leaving a comment. I must say that I am quite impressed by all that you are doing with your life! Husband, kids, school, work, good for you, stick with it babe!
Shake, it's not as impressive when it's a 2 year degree you're going for! :)
I hate it that HE has come to your blog. Blog stalker. GRRR
Anonymous,
I have had this discussion several times, it is simply not possible to divide friendships like you divide material possessions. Her and I have been friends for a long time. Also, I don't believe blog stalking applies here, Seminole left me a comment, I did the same for her. I leave my opinions at my blog, why can you not do the same?
What?? crazy??
You kidding?! Doing a two year degree in right around that same amount of time with a family and a job is very impressive.
A lot of the people in the program that I am entering will finish in right around three years. I am targeting five due to my up and coming family.
Good Job!!!
not sure whats up- wouldn't involve you in the madness. Thats not me. Just wanted to clear the air.
Im done now
