B and Sam on his birthday!
My son was born 5 years ago at 2:30pm and weighed 7lbs 13oz. I can't believe that 5 years have passed.
Yesterday we had a swimming party at the YMCA with all of his friends. His best friend B came home with us and had a sleepover. Today he celebrated with his class and took birthday treats- a very big deal when you're 5! Then we went to the movies and saw The Wild, (I took a nap!). Tonight, we're headed to Power Play. He's never been there before so it should be fun.
My baby is 5 and he will start kindergarten in the fall. I'm glad we have Nate, I'm not ready for an empty home yet.

5 years did go by fast!
They won't be in the same class at school, so no graduation together. Bob wants me to hold him back a year so they can be together. Good reason to hold a kid back, right?
